Kubz VR

I don't want to give this a good review.... Because of the neglect of this simple game by the Dev/s. It is a very good idea for a game. Too bad it was made and then forgotten about, regardless of its quirks. It is fun. It is worth about a dollar, maybe 2. But, it is buggy and slow even on beast equipment. Lacks polish and variance. Would really love to see a good Tetris VR implementation, unfortunately this doesn't take the cake. 5/10. I'll fix my review if the dev/s fix the game.

Ramps up very quickly. I would place a block turn around and have 3 more on the floor. I think it would be better to have a simple timer. you get one block at a time and you get time added back to the timer for every line you complete. Either way, it's still fun, just too difficult to play for long.

This is a fun VR adaptation of tetris. It's sorely lacking options though. It would be nice if it had some different visual options or at the very least difficulty adjustments. Also the music is very bland and repetitive. The biggest knock against this game though is how buggy it is. It tends to stutter a lot even on good equipment, which usually results in a loss. Also sometimes the grabbing gets stuck and you end up picking pieces you didn't want, or typing in extra characters in the high score screen. Overall the concept is great, it's a good work out, but this particular game has several flaws and shortcomings. It's not terribly pricey but I wouldn't recommend picking it up unless it's on discount.

I played this at a trade show and that is what got me into VR. It is a lot of fun. You won't be playing this game for 20 hours... but it is a great game that has a short learning curve, aka, let your friends play, or if you want to play something for just a couple minutes with little time invested. As for people saying it is too hard, I actually have the opposite complaint, the speed ramp up maxes out after 100 rows or so, and if you can hold that, you can just play forever. I played to 1000 rows just to see if there was a "Great Job, you beat the game" or award or something... spoiler alert... as of 1100 or so rows, there isn't. Once you hit that point, it gets boring. I wish the speed ramp kept going.

I mean constant loud alarm beeping noises, are really overboard and irritating. I have a few VR Tetris games, and this one is the best. That said I dont feel it translates well to VR. I'm giving this a positive review, as its the best one, but its a weak positive review. 6/10.
