GAMEPLAY

After a deceptively calm start aboard the boat with your brother, you’ll soon find yourself trapped in a shark cage at the bottom of the ocean.  A cage broken in such a way where the sharks can get in, but you can’t get out.  You will have to fend off the hungry sharks armed with nothing but the light from your phone… and did we mention its battery is almost dead?  As if that wasn’t bad enough, your oxygen tank is also broken; be very careful about when and how long you draw your next breath!  And if you somehow manage to find a way to escape the cage, other challenges still lie ahead!  Will you somehow manage to survive this deep-sea nightmare?

What the hell is wrong with these sharks? They spawn from between the rocks and keep killing me. It seems so random and very hilarious. Couldn't even get the laser cutter because of the random shark spawns lol.

What starts out as a good survival horror game with good writing and characters turns into hoping the RNG gives you good odds so you can actually scare away the sharks as you make your emergency ascent instead of getting eaten by them...or get eaten by the very shark you should be able to scare off. 0/10, none of the goodwill in the world matters if the endgame is broken.

It's a cheap FNAF-style game where you use different techniques to ward off sharks in the confines of a dive cage (so far). Pretty simple, but a certain kind of difficult in the simplicity. The biggest hurdle is the controls. The game play itself is pretty simple and a matter of timing and doing the right motions when you hear certain noises, but the controls are making it so much more difficult. Moving is a standard WASD, to turn on your flashlight is F and the action button to rattle the cage, move it etc are E, and to rotate the camera you move the mouse. I am having the WORST time trying to move and hit the E and F buttons. I also can't move right and do either of those actions at the same time, and since I keep having to move right during attacks because of the corner it puts me in while pushing the cage I keep fumbling what should be an easy couple motions and getting eaten. I would prefer if they'd set the flashlight as the Space bar and the action button as the left button on the mouse. The sensitivity of certain things is also poorly done. I can be standing RIGHT where I need to be to rattle the cage to scare off the great white, but because I'm a pixel off i…
