What the hell is wrong with these sharks? They spawn from between the rocks and keep killing me. It seems so random and very hilarious. Couldn't even get the laser cutter because of the random shark spawns lol.

Solitude Underwater takes a simple underwater survival scenario and turns it into a tense horror experience centered on vulnerability rather than action. Developed by Maximus Aktypis and published by Big MA16 Studios, the game follows a treasure-hunting expedition involving two brothers searching for a long-lost ship and its valuable cargo. What begins as an adventurous trip quickly becomes a nightmare when the protagonist ends up trapped beneath the ocean. The premise is deliberately straightforward, allowing the game to concentrate on isolation, limited resources, and the fear of being surrounded by an environment where humans clearly do not belong. The damaged shark cage is at the heart of the experience. Instead of being a reliable barrier between the player and the predators outside, it becomes a claustrophobic prison that offers only questionable protection. Sharks can become an immediate threat, yet the protagonist lacks the kind of powerful weapons that would transform the encounter into an action game. The concept of this game, on paper, seems really interesting. But you have to suspend a lot of disbelief to accept anything going on such as using a literal radio underwater (walkie-talkie style in hand) and a busted air tank for air (what?!) and moving a cage from inside with no physics. Plus if you need the laser cutter to get out, how the hell are the sharks getting in. Not great.

What starts out as a good survival horror game with good writing and characters turns into hoping the RNG gives you good odds so you can actually scare away the sharks as you make your emergency ascent instead of getting eaten by them...or get eaten by the very shark you [i]should[/i] be able to scare off. 0/10, none of the goodwill in the world matters if the endgame is broken.
