Caveat: It's not for me, thus why I can't recommend it. However, you may have a better time with it than I did. My main, and only, gripe with this game is the writing. The exploration events in particular. Something's wrong when I dread meeting characters and spend a lot of time gazing longingly at the skip button as I force myself to read through the text. A lot of the conversations I experienced feel heavily one-sided. Characters I didn't expect to be particularly chatty will monologue at you with no real rhyme or reason. And after some odd hours of playing I couldn't muster the slightest ounce of excitement at learning about new lore or delving deeper into a character's psyche. Reading ended up feeling like something I had to do to finish the game instead of an experience meant to be enjoyed. The intimate encounters during the exploration period is also...not for me. I played through Soren's route since it has a guide and I wanted to give the writing another chance. And I can't say for sure since I don't dabble in the spaces, but it kinda feels like it may be inspired by NSFW ASMR roleplay? Having the love interest narrate what's happening, what MC is doing, and what they're d…22 found this helpful
I backed the kickstarter for the PC port and didn't play the mobile version first so I discovered it now and I am obsessed with this game !! Otome with side gameplay ? Sign me up ! I love exploring and trying to find what changes depending on my choices or places I choose. I recommend this game if you like to experiment and search to have what you desire (Soren I am coming for you ♡)11 found this helpful
With the caveat of some annoying save scumming needed to complete some runs, i enjoyed playing this game. The characters and story were compelling. i was just a little disappointed by the full end. i keep wishing there was just a little more. I recommend this game if you have the time. Also it works perfectly on the steam deck. e9 found this helpful
Somnium Eleven was a lot of fun! I typically don't play stat builder otomes cause I'm not good on them lol. However, the game is set up to give you stats multiple ways so you can play different each time and explore different areas. I really liked that as I hate doing the same thing over and over. I romance Val and adored her! I look forward to replaying to see the other romances. Also, the side characters were great too! I did experience a love hate with Roman tho. Bro is everywhere haha. I definitely recommend playing!9 found this helpful
