The souls of Allaar are waiting!
You will embark on an epic journey into a procedurally generated world where you will explore a variety of locations full of monsters and traps. You have to collect body parts of the various monsters, and the rarity system will affect the generation of stats and passive effects. Each collected body part provides new abilities and capabilities, changing battle tactics.
Choose your path!
Of course, it’s your skills as a player that matter most: dashes, double jumps and weapon mastery will help you defeat your opponents. But the enemies will become stronger, so have time to loot the body parts to strengthen the hero. More than 50 different body parts of different rarity and leveling system with mutations will help you strengthen the hero in the right way: grow a “tank”, develop him as a “glass cannon”, focus on melee combat or magic, enhance the effects of passive skills.
Death is not the end
In the world of Allaar, if you die, you will lose almost everything you had. But death doesn't mean the end of the game. You can find “Ink Tables” at the locations, they allow you to save several body parts for future runs. Choose wisely which body part you want to save for your next run.

Sadly this game broke on me twice and I lost all the progress each time. It seemed to break in the screen where you manage your equips and abilities. Fun concept. Otherwise, it has very odd movement where everything seems to slide around. Very easy enemy encounters, but I did not get very far, Music is repetitive and underwhelming, though its not bad, it doesn't add much to the experience. There were definitely some other GUI issues. The ability tree for me did not work at all as I could not click on anything, and at one point I got mouse-over text for them, but they all said the same thing. Overall broken game, that could be fun if it gets a lot of work.5 found this helpful
Like it's got a great premise, but the actual gameplay isn't engaging at all. I love the bit about using other body parts to build a great fighter. I love the roguelite and metroidvania elements. I just don't like the combat at all. It's too simplistic and feels hallow, even for a metroidvania. It's just not for me, I suppose. I played an hour of it and it felt less fun that some idle games I've played.3 found this helpful
A cool roguelike title with a fun gameplay loop, nice music and graphics. It's not long and a little bit too hard in some parts, but overall it's a great time. Check it out if you're a fan of Dead Cells :)2 found this helpful
Souldbind is a surprisingly great Dead Cells-like, and I say that in the best way possible. The graphics, sound and music are all very well done and the combat is fast and fluid. This is a rogue-like, and I knew that going in, when you die your are sent back to the very beginning to start over...you improve each time of course and get upgrades, but still pretty brutal. It's going to take me a while to beat because of that, but it's fun to play and I am determined to finish it. If you like games similar to Dead Cells you will enjoy Soulbind. i didnt like character movents and game became boring
I like this. Its not perfect but looks and plays great on oled. I gotta say I was more impressed by the colors and visuals in this than in many triple aaa titles on the deck. I thought the mechanic of switching body parts was very clever. Its also priced really well. If I was to compare it to something it would be something like Dead Cells. Halloween is just around the corner! ;p
