Players praise this roguelite for its intelligent design, variety of viable builds that suit different playstyles, satisfying progression system, and minimalist presentation that lets gameplay speak for itself. Genuinely brilliant, probably would have been an all-time arcade classic. Different builds work better for different playstyles and against certain enemy types, which gives it a ton of replayability, and being able to spend your credits on permanent upgrades after the end of the game is huge. Very intelligent game design, by your first game you'll already be able to identify what different enemy ships do, text is kept to a minimum. Nice cute artstyle, the mix of maintenance minigames combined with the bullet heaven/base defense worked very well. Interesting metaprogression choices too. My only complaint is IMO the ingame music is a bit too repetitive/short a loop. To the dev... I am so sorry it took me this long to get around to checking it out, the last few months have been hectic! 💛
