If you like Qix, you will love this game. The Best $2 I've ever spent. When it was on sale for $1, I gifted it to all my friends.... So yes I recommend this game to a friend. I have played other Qix like games, but I think I like this one best. Mouse works just fine on this game, but I think using gamepad is better. And it has a Leaderboard which is nice. I think it has a good balance of difficulty, but I must say, save your coins for a time when you do need them. Like when you're on level, and died 10+ times tring to beat a level (it was an off day). You will have the gold for a skill you may need to beat it.

This game comes with my highest recommendation. I'm shocked that this game hasn't been seeing tons of praise and reviews. It is a surprisingly good modern qix. and a challenging one! The mexhanics are very similar to another qix clone - airxonix, with powerups and ball types. There is a global leaderboard, and levels do get progressively harder until they are quite insane :) And that's on "easy" ;) A perfect Arcade game! The only reason not to play it would be if you don't like arcade games or you never tried it. I would even compare it to trackmania in terms of fun :) Come out and playiyeeeeey! Booga.

When a game is less than $1, the real question is "is it worth my time?" The answer for most people for this game is probably no. The game brings its own charms and contributions to the Qix genre: A power up/ability system A nice soundtrack The ability to cross over your own unfinished lines Enemies start a "fuse" when they touch your unfinished lines rather than killing you outright And a unique graphical perspective that gives the playfield a nice touch of depth. Unfortunately, there was more about this game that I disliked than liked: Your own avatar feels too big and clunky most of the time, Because the player sprite is large and allowed to overlap with unclaimed areas from claimed areas, you can get killed by enemies in the unclaimed area even when you're not attempting to draw. The UI is unrefined and though the game allows a mix of controls, it seems the UI doesn't support the same set. I'm not positive how it compares to Qix and other Qix clones, but the pacing of the game feels slow and sluggish. The star scoring system places too much emphasis on how much extra playfield you claimed over the threshold on your winning move. So on more difficult stages, you will have to k…

Wish there was a little more variation in the art, but it's exactly what it looks like. I'm sure it's great for someone.

This is a W game for being 99 cents probably more entertainment to be had than National Basketball Association twenty twenty three.

reminds me of Qix from back in the day. more fun though, with different things to avoid, and different temporary power-ups to aid you. I like the soundtrack too.
