Spearrowblade is a beautifully hand-drawn 2D action-adventure that blends mystery, atmosphere, and exploration into a calm yet engaging Metroidvania experience. The game’s world is dark, detailed, and full of secrets, giving it a vibe similar to Hollow Knight, while its medieval themes and sense of discovery bring Terraria to mind. The weapon-based progression is one of its strongest features—choosing between a sword, spear, or bow genuinely changes how you play, making each run feel fresh and personal. Overall, the game is surprisingly relaxing for an action title. Exploring abandoned villages, helping quirky NPCs, and uncovering hidden paths feels smooth and enjoyable. For its current price, Spearrowblade offers more value than expected—honestly, it could easily cost more than €1 without feeling overpriced. There are a few bugs that need attention, such as the mouse cursor disappearing when you die and return to the menu, which can make navigation frustrating. But despite these small issues, Spearrowblade remains a charming, atmospheric, and well-crafted adventure that stands out among indie Metroidvanias.
