About Spectral Ascension
Spectral Ascension is a free-to-play fast paced third person hero brawler where characters that have once fallen can fight for the chance to ascend. Take part in 4 short rounds of non-stop brawling. Gain points by eliminating your foes and be the last one standing. Use those points to upgrade your abilities and further your rampage.

So. This game looks pretty good, but there doesn't appear to be anyone actually playing it. I'd recommend you get a group a friends to play it as you won't ever see anyone online. The only map is a bit small and everything is rough around the edges, but I see potential.1 found this helpful
Game feels good and I get alright frames 90fps. When I logged in the servers were empty no one to play with. needs a bigger playerbase and then it would be ight ig. i dont even kow how the combat works1 found this helpful

This game cannot be played as intended.[/quote] "Spectral Ascension" is one of literally thousands of student projects infesting Steam. It's from UCSC in the USA. While student projects tend to be better quality than most "amateur" made games, we must still question what value such projects have for gamers. As with all student projects, this isn't really a fully fleshed out game, it's just the result of an academic exercise, and as such it has much more limited value as a game than a professionally developed game would have. Educational institutions should not be using Steam as a dumping ground for homework assignments (especially if the students didn't even pass the course). Sure, it helps their marketing and helps the students feel good about themselves, but this is another case of a business putting themselves before the needs of gamers. This year the students had to learn around netcode, I guess, because they made a shallow and limited PvP Battle Royale game, basically a third person arena deathmatch game with a supernatural…

its a good game i see a lots of thing you can do with this. events and pass to find new heroes and upgrade for hp and dash and maybe a shield.
