Spellarium 2

It's a lot like the first Spellarium, but with fewer rockfalls than the first game. There still aren't a lot of gadgets in the levels and most of the time you're trying to trip the red or green squares to get the coins. The levels are a little trickier where you have to match a little more carefully at times. Pretty long game at 110 levels. Three types of minigames: spot the difference, solitaire, and a few HOS. Powerup mechanics are exactly like the first game, so you have to be good at making very big matches if you want to get all the powerups. The storyline is sort of a continuation from the first game, where Eric now has to find an extra element, but the ending is kind of a letdown. I also didn't like the new concept of the unseen workers who are building the scene not being treated all that well - it's like Eric is totally out of touch with the real world there. It's an OK game if you like the Spellarium series and want to see how it started out, but the puzzles are kind of repetitive with the lack of widgets so they play pretty similarly to each other.
