Wow... just wow... Look, I don't usually write reviews anymore, unless a game is either very good or very bad. And you guessed it, this game is straight trash! Like, holy smoke is this game badly balanced. Some mechanics is interesting, like the combo system... but that got tedious real quick, not to mention the game just feel sluggish to play. Like every input has a delay you're never sure if you are going to do a hit or not. My biggest issue is the lingering AOE hit boxes - did the effect ended? Is it safe to close in to hit? Well try and find out! The game is not getting patches anymore, so basically shovelware. I'm not expecting the devs to see this and improve their game, this is pretty much just a warning to everyone else. Don't buy this, and if you did, refund it asap.7 found this helpful
"Story Of Infinity: Xia" is certainly one of the weakest Diablo ripoffs I've ever seen... a top down range-heavy ARPG with a vaguely Chinese medieval theme, no storyline worth mentioning and janky, unpolished and somewhat buggy gameplay. Truly, Diablo from Temu. The assets look a little mismatched but they're also much higher quality than the actual game. It's a bit of a red flag for an asset flip, but there's no evidence or smoking gun in this case. While there's no proof, the overall low quality of the actual "game" part (an important part of the whole package that makes up a game) is indistinguishable from an asset flip, and no matter where the assets came from, the quality here is bad. The developer chose not to do the job of a real game developer and create meaningful bespoke levels, narrative based gameplay progression and so on. Instead, they decided that "Procgen IS content!" and lazily tried to use procgen algorithms to create infinite, samey, repetitive, soulless levels, because that's a lot less work.
