Subway Midnight

I bought this game a while back as part of the Land Crab bundle, and honestly I can't say that I would've bought this game otherwise. I do want to clarify that I love the uniqueness of this game's visual design. It's just so individualistic, and you can tell the developer(s) really put a lot of soul into it. Unfortunately, the visuals are where the perks kind of end for me. The game just isn't fun to play. It's like a walking simulator with a small puzzle sprinkled in every few minutes. Outside of the puzzles, it's just walking, and for me personally the game doesn't do very much to make that engaging. The scary factor doesn't do much for me either, because genuinely I'm bored. The eeriness and horror aspect of this game just don't do enough. It's also not like I don't enjoy slower-paced games either, it's just the fact that Subway Midnight doesn't have much going on as far as gameplay goes. Like I said, the visual design is awesome, but the gameplay is so lackluster and leaves a lot to be desired. I honestly don't know if I'll ever play through to the end because I just don't enjoy it.

I like the vibe, but a lot of sections in this are just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ why are you bloating your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game Like, uhh, conveyor belt and the marbles.

if you don't wanna spend a couple hours on something with minimal gameplay then this probably isn't for you, but the art, atmosphere and story in this game make it 100% worth playing if you're into that! people calling it 'just a walking simulator' don't know how to appreciate a good walking simulator
