Sudden Strike 5 has attractive graphics and solid tactical gameplay that fans of the series appreciate, but players consistently report frustrating issues including poor control schemes with no remapping options, repetitive mission design especially in the campaign, and stability crashes that undermine the experience. While some find the core mechanics rewarding enough to invest significant time, the technical problems and control limitations are major dealbreakers for many, leading most dissatisfied players to refund.
Honestly its astounding how garbage this game is. Repetitive Def missions copy and pasted throughout the entire campaign, the worse being the german side. So stupid how they send endless amounts of bs your way meanwhile you get wittled down to the point where you cant even complete the mission. Garbage game coded with dog water mechanics. I loved the demo and was really looking forward to playing the full game. Sadly, I have had 2-3 crashes in 90 mins with this game. I know one happened as I completed a mission and another happened during a new mission. Refunding and sending that money back to my wallet.1 found this helpful
Really really good tactical RTS. Spent many hours on it and will absolutely play all the DLCs that are released. Please add user map creation somehow so I can play even more
It brings everything that i loved about the previous entries and makes them a little better. Stability is a bit of an issue, especially at start but when the game gets going i experienced no issue.
