Decent platformer inspired by other popular platformers like Crash, Mario and such. Made by Xbox Game Studios, have some original ideas like digging into ground and hovering with tail (wait, I saw this one before somewhere...). Crystal candy visuals and good level design. For a platformer it's still a great choice. There's new a bit improved and alternated version but I haven't played it yet so can't tell much in this regard.
3 found this helpful
It's a nice game
charming and well made 3D mascot platformer which is a bit rare on PC these days. minor nitpick is the game tends challenge the depth perception of player with low camera angles sometimes. it's not frequent but occasional to notice them. This is a good game, buttery smooth platforming, good visual design, decent length and content. some levels have good challenge and you will need to attempt a few times.
Super Lucky's Tale is a decent 3D platformer for something that used to be an Xbox One exclusive. There are definitely far better options out there, especially if your time is limited. It absolutely has a good deal of issues, big and small, but I don't think they're egregious enough really warrant an avoidance for most audiences that have an interest in the genre. If you're looking for an easy one to introduce to a child or if you want something to just chill to without much stress, this is a good candidate. A simple plot that forces you to be a powerful main character in a world that you are about to know more seriously. You might not take this seriously at first knowing that you can jump from one world to another. I find it tiring to collect coins because and it is harn to earn points easily. So for starters of this kind of genre, it could be a pain in your throat for I hate the sea or rather i should i kinda hate the controls - i always drown in the ocean., especially with annoying enemies. There are puzzles that i find so easy to solve. But there are moments that you are own your own way to figure out how to pass through obstacles and run through the barriers because the camera movement is just stuck sometimes one position so I don't think this is enjoyable in a smaller device. The boss battles are awesome but there's lacking in terms of what makes it a unique experience. I never regret playing this game overall. If you like platform games, then you should get this game. But if you don't like dying multiple times and getting perfect scores without looking at walkthrough videos, then i think you are not the audience for this, thus kids can find this a bit frustrating in terms of the…
Saves are stored with game files. One time my microsd card unmounted itself and steam cloud removed my save. I really liked this game, even with slippery control, but i will not waste time to get back to my progress.
