About SuperQuest
SuperQuest is a comedy focused turn-based RPG where you traverse through a series of dungeons filled with treacherous traps, mind-bending puzzles (they’re not that hard) and a variety of monsters that you can dispatch by using the game’s unique “Trick” mechanic!Every individual enemy has unique actions that can be taken against them: you can steal bananas from the monkeys, or try to crack jokes with the skeletons. However this is never done as a means to diplomacy but to give yourself the upper-hand in combat so you can deliver the final blow! You also have a TP meter that’ll fill up once you’ve taken or dealt enough damage, allowing you to use that character’s “Special Skill”, to help get you out of a tight spot!

SuperQuest is a lighthearted turn-based RPG that proudly embraces absurdity from beginning to end. Rather than telling a conventional fantasy tale, the game throws players into an outrageous mission to rescue the President, using that unusual premise as the foundation for a nonstop stream of jokes, bizarre encounters, and unexpected twists. Its retro-inspired pixel visuals immediately evoke the charm of classic role-playing games, but the writing constantly reminds players that this is a comedy first and foremost. The result is an adventure that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly unpredictable, delivering an experience that is more interested in making players laugh than following traditional RPG conventions. The game's world is built around a series of dungeon expeditions that feature more than straightforward monster encounters. Every location introduces traps, environmental hazards, puzzles, and hidden surprises that encourage exploration instead of rushing directly toward the next objective. While the puzzles are designed to make players think, they avoid becoming frustratingly complex, making progression accessible without sacrificing variety. SuperQuest first and foremost is a game that wants to be a wacky slapstick comedy, so be sure to buy this only if you in the mood for nonsensical gags and people randomly exploding. Gameplay wise the combat was pretty simple but enjoyable and I did laugh a lot playing this.
I haven't played too much of this game as of right now, but dear LORD if it's not one of the funniest games I've played in my entire life, nearly every conversation has at least SOMETHING to find humorous. The music is really well done, the art is really cute and charming, the story [[ from what I've played so far ]] is extremely interesting while still being lighthearted and comedic . . overall, it's just really a good time and I heavily recommend it if you haven't bought it already.
