Swapshot

A fun little game that involves teleporting through boxes. You first start moving boxes to get to the end, then, you shoot the boxes to teleport. Later on there's blue boxes where you can't push, and you have to think ahead where you shoot, and where you stand until the bullet hits it, it's an interest concept. There's not much to explain, the game you get is exactly advertised as in the page. It's a little short, but hey, it's also a cheap game. I got the bundle with the other dev's games, so... The only thing is that the key mechanism, where if you pick up the red key it hides a couple blocks, comes too late into the game and very little levels has them. I also felt that some levels I beat doing unintended paths, or maybe the game was designed this way, who knows. What I do know is that, in some levels, the button that opens the door is quite close to the exit door, and you can actually just go through the door fast enough without doing the puzzle... I only did this on one level, however. I recommend it, but I'd love if there was a level editor built-in, and even more interesting would be the inclusion of custom levels on the Workshop. Short yet enjoyable game with an interesting mechanic. It has decent music although it may get repetitive, appealing visuals, and poses a fair challenge. A sequel should be considered to polish the game play and level design. One issue I encountered was the button used for shooting on the default layout being R1 on the steam deck. This can be remapped but it is worth noting

One hour of simple to average "let's try this another way" platform challenges with uneven difficulty curve. Graphics and movement are fine, the music is a bit of a letdown. Overall still a recommendation as a palate cleanser. Might be a nice game to play with a kid - together or on their own.

Very short but very interesting puzzle platformer.

Really like the concept of the game really enjoyable and short and sweet! would love a number 2 or even some DLC! psst Add more Achievements
