About Sweetest Monster
"I love you for who you are. I’ve loved you from the moment I met you."Robin Hawkins is down on his luck. His relationship with his wife, Sally, is stagnating, and his daughter, Melody, no longer speaks to him.
Stuck in an unsatisfying and draining job, Robin's life is one long, monotonous slog...
Until he meets the mysterious girl of his dreams in the middle of the night, Bell.
However, there is far more to Bell than meets the eye - and Robin's 'dreams' are fast in danger of becoming 'nightmares'.

- This VN is kinetic. It has no choices/branches.
- It's around 40k in length.
- It contains fanservice, sexual content/nudity, and some psychological horror elements readers might find disturbing.
- Features entirely custom art and OST.
- Most importantly, contains a cute catgirl! ❤

Dark little story. I feel like it had a lot to say about how teenage girls are treated..1 found this helpful
A very dark, psychological horror story and very well written. The major reveal was such a gut punch.
Good vn, it can be a lil problematic, but it was good xd That plotwist was CRAZY tho. I recommend to ppl who are not sensitive. ( it is not about a gore )
Bro, I’m not really a VN fan, but I gotta say this one actually hooked me. I was expecting the ending to get kinda dark, but I definitely didn’t see the whole daughter reveal coming. That said, I still can’t get over how the protagonist doesn’t recognize his own daughter—it just feels kinda off to me. Even if Robin neglected his family, they all live in the same house. I find it hard to believe he never once noticed Melody all those years, even if she was avoiding him. Still, it makes sense that it was her all along. Every time Bell showed up right when Sally was nearby and she never suspected anything… yeah, that lines up. Hopefully someday Steam will allow SW Refrain to be released. And sorry if my English isn’t the best. I totally recommend this VN.
I deeply enjoyed reading Sweetest Monster. As I write this, it's on sale for 40% off which makes it a steal of a deal. Even at full price you're not spending much and you're getting a solid 2-3 hours of reading with a nice audio-visual experience (for some reason Steam is saying I only have like 1.1 hours, I think because I played it while offline and syncing got messed up? But I played it for about 2-3 hours). At just $4 CAD it's a great value for about 40,000 words - it is rather brief, but more than that, it's concise. It hits hard and doesn't waste time to do it. If you look at this game and think you'd like it, I think you should buy it and read it. For me, I did just that, and I was surprised by just how much I got out of it. Hard to not give spoilers, but I'd say I found the overall story very engaging and it left me with a lot of interesting things to think about.
Good VN left me wanting more
