About Takelshin
Takelshin is a 2D platformer in the style of old 8- and 16-bit classics.
You take the role of Takelshin - a little octopus girl on her way through many different stages such as deep waters or colorful autumn forests.
Takelshin's mission is to get on a flying pirate ship and free her younger baby siblings from the clutches of pirate lady Scallywag Sally.
NEW: Intakelactic Adventure! The current version includes an expansion pack that can be optionally activated in the main menu. This is another brand new adventure, in which Takelshin's "yummy donut" is stolen by small, cute alien creatures and our little heroine therefore has to go deep into space.

I'm a platformer junkie; my library probably has hundreds of them. This is a good game although I am still fairly early on. No glitches / issues encountered.6 found this helpful
didn't reach uncle tony's chicken farm yet, but still this game is delightful, well crafted and the controls are very good balanced, even with keyboard. only 20 mins. of fun but still good - i want to play through :D :D3 found this helpful
A lovingly designed jump and run game that takes you back about 30 years with the graphics. The brilliant 8 bit sound supports the whole feeling. The game is also cheap. What more do you want? Thumbs up. :)3 found this helpful

Awesome lovely retro sidescroller. All in all a well-rounded game, where lovely athmosphere and nice sound design meets a unique side scroller with funny surprises.
