This is one of those racing games where they have great graphics and cool drift mechanics and inventive fun courses, and little lightning bolts and projectiles that come out of nowhere and spin you out and take you from first place to last place in an instant. There is awesome game here, but it's really not any fun to just get constantly knocked out of progress by things you have no control over or way to see coming. It'd probably be fun in multiplayer.2 found this helpful
I kinda regret not purchasing this at the time of release, so I might as well buy it now, I said. It would be fun, I said. At least I am enjoying the unique team mechanics. AND some of the classic routes from Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing (2010) and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed (2012) Make theire FINAL APPEARANCE here, as Sonic Racing CrossWorlds, while having similar environments to previous entries, have COMPLETELY NEW routes altogether.
The main theme is good. But the game cannot be played at all if internet goes down for a few days.

Worked on the Steam Deck without any tinkering. I haven't gone into the graphics settings to see if I can get rid of the occasional frame drops since it happens so infrequently. Other than that it works perfectly. It's a really fun arcade kart racing game. Racing in a team also creates a unique dynamic. It can be a bit frustrating from time to time and I wouldn't want it in all racing games, but I'm really enjoying it here. The handling feels nice as well
Fun cart racer - easily worth the sale price. Runs fine. Lots of tracks and challanges.
