Loved it, the graphics are much better than the original (remasters), so the emotes are more readable and honest.

I never expected another Life is Strange game to replace the original for me, but True Colors did exactly that. I’ve been playing through the series in order, and up until this point, nothing had come close to the first game. True Colors, however, completely changed that. To me, it feels like it takes the strongest parts of Max’s and Chloe’s stories and blends them into something entirely new. More importantly, it fills in the pieces that always felt missing from those earlier games, creating an experience that feels more complete. Rather than trying to recreate what came before, it builds on those foundations while still capturing everything that makes Life is Strange so special. The original game had always been one of my top three favorite games of all time, but after finishing True Colors, it has earned that place instead. What stood out immediately was Alex Chen’s ability. Unlike previous powers that focused on changing events or exploring possibilities, Alex’s empathy centers on understanding people. It transforms emotions into something tangible, allowing players to experience another person’s inner world instead of simply witnessing it. The visual use of color is brilliant…

Life is Strange: True Colors is an absolute masterpiece. I want to break this review down into parts for better readability, as it's a bit complex because of my background with the Life is Strange franchise and my personal feelings towards this game and its community. 1. Emotional Depth over Shock Value Unlike LiS 1 (world-ending storms) or LiS 2 (high-stakes cross-country police chases), True Colors keeps the story personal. Exposing a corrupt mining company in a small town feels real and intimate; True Colors chooses to be a mature, grounded character study. This works because it trades cheap edge and shock value for emotional maturity. The grief, anger, and healing feel real, not manufactured. 2. Empathy as the Series' Best Mechanic Critics called Alex’s empathy power "passive," but it’s actually the most mature power in the franchise. It replaces chaotic action mechanics with deep character exploration. The power forces you to actually listen, observe, and understand the grief of the people around you, making the town of Haven Springs feel alive. Because of that, I could sympathize with a lot of the characters. Gabe, for example, reminded me a lot of my own brother; when …

Asian backstory hits close to home, big plot twist and loved the ending. Alex's ability is unique and i love the mini games! 9/10!
