TETRIS® THE GRAND MASTER 4 -ABSOLUTE EYE-

Always wanted to try out TGM3. Sad it still hasn't gotten a port, but this is the next best thing 🔥 I can safely say that this is the best version of Tetris that you can get on a modern console, and I find it criminal that it hasn't gotten more buzz

Mostly an improvement to the not-very-easy-to-legally-play TGM3. If you have a way to play that game, there may be certain things you may like about it better like its user account system (which was designed for a real arcade) and progression system for master mode. But otherwise- Large variety of modes that challenge players in different ways. While this game is still largely intended for hardcore Tetris fans that find most guideline games to not be all that challenging, it does offer more beginner-friendly modes than past games and offers tools to help players learn and improve. As an aside: With all modes available in both control methods now, I don't reccomend TGM control mode unless you're used to it from playing TGM3 on a real arcade machine or arcade stick. The TGM control mode was designed around an arcade stick and allows some slick movements that are natural for a stick but not for a d-pad or keyboard configuration. Standard (guideline) mode will be better for gamepads or keyboards.

This is without a doubt the best Tetris game I've played. It's exactly like arcade style Tetris I grew up playing. Granted, I grew up playing The Next Tetris of all games, but that game had an unmistakable arcade feel that I hadn't been able to find until Tetris TGM4! Everything about Tetris TGM4 is fantastic: the many game modes, the music, the customizable controls, the general feel, the presentation, and the small footprint on your computer; in fact, you may be able to run this game on a toaster. I can't recommend this Tetris game enough. I just bought it, but I know I will be spending so much time with it over the years. If you love arcade Tetris with nothing but perks to enhance the arcade Tetris experience, you will love Tetris TGM4!
