A promising gem within a VERY crowded genre. The core gameplay follows the basic formula of similar horde survival games but the individual characters are very mechanically distinct. The game also relies less on RNG than many of its peers, which is always a boon in my book. It achieves this by giving each character a set of personal skills (a main automatic attack, an active skill and a ultimate with cooldowns and two passive skills) and letting you choose from a common pool of skills and items on top of that. Each stage has a main mission and a few sidequests that add a bit of color to the experience and help pass the time. The music is alright. I really liked the art and the overall color palette. All the characters available are good and playable (although the old man can be a bit infuriating due to paper thin health). And last, but not least, my main girl does the Kaneda drift after her ultimate, so, points for style. What is here is pretty good already and I’m looking forward to the release version (a growing rarity nowadays).

Excellent game overall. Feels similar to Vampire Survivor in terms of genre, but the artwork, music, and character abilities are unique enough to set it apart in a fantastic way. Varying character difficulty adds to the challenge, with the hard modes being a lot harder than the normal stages. Overall an enjoyable game, and looking forward to further developments and updates! Keep it up. +Rep

At it's current state, heavily flawed, but fun. The objective-based nature and the defined maps are a good split from the "survive in a massive arena" formula that you usually see. Only 2 maps so far, but they have very defined themes, threats, and tactics with how they're designed and how you go about winning. The characters are all very unique. Not just a starter weapon and some stat bonuses, but very different kits and playstyles, such as Pharaoh's emphasis on summoning, standing still to buff her minions, and her limited weapon selection. Or, my personal favorite, Shooting Star Witch and her hypermobility on her bike, complete with Akira Slide references. It's got a really strong "sci-fi-fantasy mishmash" in the big city vibe, where we've got ninja maids, old martial arts masters with bad backs, cyborg ninjas, and idols that are also mercenaries. It's got flaws, obviously. Balance is pretty bad for some cases. Pharaoh, a slow-moving minion summoner with limited weapon selection, is nerfed heavily in the 2nd map because of one type of mob that moves significantly faster than she can, able to hug her to death. Other characters have terrible early games that can easily lead t…

Early Impressions- As of this writing, it says that I’ve played the game for .2 hours. N-N-No, not TWO hours, but POINT TWO hours! (To be honest, I don’t even think I made it that far in) But what I did do, was spend a ridiculous amount of time on the demo, which was a totally different beast altogether (unfortunately, you can’t see this for yourself, as it’s gone now), regardless, I can tell you that as long as the developers support this game up to the end, it will go down in history as one of the best games in this genre. It’s TOUGH! Not difficult, “difficult” implies that you have a better than 50/50 chance of defeating a run, and I’m sorry son, but I don’t think you’ll be getting through this run, the next run, or 10 more after that! So how can it be so good if it’s damn near impossible? Well, I’m not quite sure how to explain it, I just know that even though I didn’t get very far in the demo, I didn’t care because I had so much fun just trying to earn enough credits to upgrade my character! Shame there’s no demo for you to try, because that would show you, and it’s hard to trust any reviews you see, because nobody has your exact taste (plus, they could be shills). I give …

I have been playing this game since the demo and the game feels fantastic! The game feels extremely polished with loads of replayability. The game starts off fairly easy and simple, but as you go through the game it progressively gets more challenging. There are a lot of options to choose from when leveling up and the reroll option is always a welcome addition in case RNG doesn't always roll in your favor. Side quests appear every so often to keep you on your toes in case you want to deviate from the main objective. There are a good selection of characters which are suited to different playstyles (Karambit being my kinda guy). Music and art absolutely amazing. Give the game a try!

Really love the style and music of this game. Other than that, the game is actually quite polished, which is not something the majority of modern games can achieve, unfortunately. Also was really surprised by the amount of new content in recent updates. Shame there is no option to buy OST or find it online
