"The Alpha Wolf" is a RPG simulator game that puts you in the paws of a wolf, where you will need to navigate the wilderness and prove yourself as the alpha of your pack.

When I saw the video and screenshots of the game I was thinking this game would either be very bad, or surprisingly good. Turns out it's bad. The biggest problem is that there's barely any content. All you do is slay other animals. Either to eat, which generates health, or to get stronger. Because of this lack of content, it gets boring very quickly. The animals aren't that difficult to defeat either. Sure, it might take a while to take down an animal, but you can easily dodge them. I started out with 250000 gold. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a mistake by the developers, because with this I was able to buy everything that is available in the game and still have plenty of gold left. I can accept the mediocre graphics, and I do think it's cool that there are many ways to customize your wolf, but there is no music, and each sound effect only has like two versions. Meaning you will constantly hear the same two attack sounds.11 found this helpful

This game is very grindy. You have to play a lot to earn enough coins to upgrade your stats, which are Attack, Health, Defense, and Speed. It is very costly and you will run out of coins quickly, and those are not the only things you spend coins on. I love how you can change the time in the open world to day, morning, evening, and night. I wish there was more exploration, because there are so many barriers and it does not feel like a very open world. It would be nice if there were different locations, like a desert or snowy mountains. Right now there is only one place to explore. There are not a lot of animals. There are only: Bear, Boar, Stag Deer, Doe Deer, Fox, Bunny, Chicken, Goat, Calf, Sheep, and Pigs. It could definitely be less grindy to earn coins, since you use them so fast. It gets exhausting. The game is very repetitive, with the same animals, same small world, and same quests. Whenever you level up, you get 2 skill points to unlock magic skills, and then you need coins to upgrade those skills too. I wish you could get more than 2 skill points per level, because leveling up is already hard and grindy. You need 5 to 10 skill points for a good skill, and you can equ…
