About The Coma 2B: Catacomb
Youngho has finally escaped the terrifying mirror dimension called “The Coma” and is back at school, enjoying his life. But… something is not quite right…
Youngho’s second adventure begins. With only the faint hope of escaping from the horrors within the mirror dimension, Youngho collects the pages of Yaesol’s notes to find the location of a powerful relic sword that can be used against the Vicious Sister. Things get complicated when an unwanted invader comes to the mirror dimension, and a new character with ties to Yaesol appears in order to help Youngho. Will Youngho be able to solve the mystery behind the huge facility beneath Dokaebi Market and defeat the Vicious Sister?
The Coma 2B: Catacomb is a Korean survival horror adventure. It is the back story to the previous game, The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters, and a story bridge for the full series. You return as Youngho Choi, the hero from The Coma 1, as you once again venture forth into the terrifying mirror dimension. What happened between The Coma 1 and The Coma 2? The answer lies within.
Immerse yourself in the warped Sehwa District as you encounter an engaging cast of characters, solve puzzles, discover clues, and fight for survival against a relentless psychopath.
Running and wielding your flashlight makes you an easy target. You must precariously balance the urgency of exploration with your absolute need to survive!

Writing a review for the PS5 version of this game. Everything was going fine until I reached the final battle or last puzzle. The puzzle was moving so quickly that I couldn't beat it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PLAYING THIS GAME ON PS5!6 found this helpful
So I played the first half of the game before the update, and while the intro was kind of long it didn't really bother me. Some enemies were tough (The Butcher, but I believe in the update they made him easier.) Now in the second half, I had a much better and easier time. I wasn't being chased constantly, I didn't really lose stamina quickly, and had a good amount of time to solve puzzles without disruptions. I know people had a tough time with the boss battle at the end but thankfully I had no problems at all, and I believe that was due to the update. I enjoyed reading the lore and seeing what Youngho was up to while Mina was trying to save him. I will say though some of the translation is not good and made no sense but it wasn't so bad that you couldn't understand what was going on story wise (Some small errors I caught were like, "I knows you're here". Grammatical mistakes like that). But I will say you'll need a guide to get some of the puzzles if you play in English because the puzzles made no sense sometimes or you had to avoid a character in order to read some of the numbers and that wasn't easy. If you like the series, I say play this one.2 found this helpful
The Coma series by Devespresso Games is a masterclass in indie-2D hand-drawn survival horror. Closer in play style to Clock Tower with a core game thread of sneaking, hiding, running, and solving puzzles to unravel a nut-bag story. Is nut bag hyphenated? Anyway, I played the entire series back-to-back because I have too much time and have a love for all things Korean culture and nut-baggary. The original is The Coma: Cutting Class (later re-released as The Coma: Recut), followed by a sequel, The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters, and a companion to the sequel called The Coma 2b: Catacombs. Coma 3: Bloodlines was released earlier this year. Devespresso Games does a great job on building on each game and adding much-needed elements to gameplay or fixes. While the first entry starts out slow, eventually the developers introduced resource management, minor crafting, and better health and stamina systems to the later games. I am unsure if there is any juice left to squeeze from this series, but the adventure was worth it. The Coma 2b: Catacombs is a “companion” of sorts to Coma 2: Vicious Sisters. What has little Youngho been doing while his friend Mina clumsily stumbles away from monsters…1 found this helpful

not as good as The Coma 2 but still fine, wish some of the enemy spawns where a bit better but its not hte end of the world. 7/101 found this helpful
i`m a big fan of the two previous games, but this.. god, how terrible it plays. i love the concept, but that`s the only thing I love in this game, idk. it feels like devs padded the playtime as much as possible, and it completely ruined the whole game1 found this helpful
