Given the 14.99 price point, I cannot recommend this game. I noticed quite a few typos, the story is pretty weak, and the gameplay is not great. Both the puzzles and the hidden object scenes are far too easy and the game is too short. It only took me a bit over 5 hours to get all achievements and clear both the main game and the bonus chapter and that actually includes some AFK time, possibly as much as an hour.1 found this helpful
Not as challenging as other games by the same publisher. It's also full of typos and spelling errors.
This game brought me nostalgia - both the good and bad. Find hidden objects, solve puzzles, advance story and get to the ending along with easy achievements. There's hints and a good difficulty level as well. Best for kids to introduce them to this fine world of "finding hidden objects" genre. The animations are cheesy and I seriously wish they could have invested perhaps a bit more with the actual character animation, especially in talking. It's really bad. The video parts are in line with what you can expect of this genre. The puzzle parts are a mix - the mini games did get me to seriously think in 2 cases, otherwise it was pretty straightforward. The last mini-game puzzle especially was too easy compared to the others, I wonder if it's intentional. The bonus stage was a nice after story explanation with room for further sequels. The interesting part are the acchievements - they are tracked globally. So if you missed an achievement early in your 1st playthrough, getting it in the 2nd playthrough increments it globally. Thankfully I didn't have to play the entire game completely twice - just halfway through. - 6/10
Great game but there are GLARING issues. First. The difficulty options do not function correctly. The middle option specifically says NO glimmering for hot spots. This is not correct. They show regardless. Second. The butterfly and moth are backwards in two of the HO Scenes. Third. Several scenes have missing text. You hover and there is nothing. Fourth. The typos are horrific. This almost got a thumbs down.
Engaging story and puzzles. Recommended.
Really engaging, thoroughly enjoyed it, Many Thanks, Anna
