About The Farming Frontier

The Farming Frontier is a relaxing farming adventure game where you can chop wood, mine ores, fish, grow crops, bake bread, and raise cattle at your own pace. Alongside the open-ended sandbox gameplay, the game also follows a light, linear story where your farming skills are key to overcoming enemies. In this world, everything is connected. To defend your frontier, you must train soldiers — but soldiers need weapons and a strong economy to survive. As the farmer, it’s your responsibility to manage and grow the economy that supports them.
First, you will need wood.Chop trees and employ woodcutters to process logs into usable wood for constructing buildings. Some structures also require stone, so you’ll need to quarry rocks and refine them into building materials.Expand your village by building a fishery, a bakery, and a mill to produce food for your growing population.
Your peasants need comfortable homes to rest and eat when they are tired and hungry. Keep their houses stocked with food to keep morale high.Learn crafting to speed up production and unlock new tools and upgrades that make your frontier thrive.

Yes to a point. Cons: - Sometimes the game crashes without notice, and if you don't constantly save good luck! - No automatic save system. Would be nice if there was one. - Game play curve. Some things you need to learn on your own. - The sell/buy system doesn't make much sense. Wish you could sell things in your inventory rather than what's posted. Pros: - The art work is nice - It's a game you can leave for a bit and come back. - There is a management aspect of it What could be added: - Auto saving - Multiplayer (So you can have help with things that others know) Rating: 6/10 - Mid game but room for improvement.

Pros: Nice pixel art and atmosphere. Progress feels rewarding when you unlock new tools or features Light management gameplay scratches that sim itch It has that true indie feel, has its personality Cons: No autosave system at all. Early gameplay has a learning curve that isn't explained Some mechanics aren't explained. You kind of stumble your way through early on Rating: 6.5/10 – Decent foundation. Needs refinement, but worth keeping an eye on. Overall recommended
