About The Gap
Years ago, my daughter went missing. After a time, everyone gave up hope of finding her... They moved on.
But not me. I know my daughter is alive. She is out there somewhere, waiting for me. Needing my help.
Last night I got this letter...
The Gap is a short first-person horror experience taking place in a ghostly abandoned house on a lonely street corner. You don't know what forces compelled you to come here, but it is clear someone is living inside.
Features
It will sometimes be necessary that you delve into near complete darkness to proceed. I have given you a small body light to aid you in this.
It is not recommended for lower end systems.

You are a father looking for your daughter who has been trapped in a house. You arrive at the house and have to wander around hoping random jump scares trigger. Not much to the story and then suddenly the game is over. There isn't any dialogue beyond the introduction plot dump. PROS: * Couple of good jump scares * Decent spooky atmosphere * Creepy entities * Simplistic M&K controls CONS: * Hard to see. You have to turn on all the lights in the house, but even sometimes it's a bit too dark to see * Not fully sure what triggers the jump scares or story progression, so you're wandering around not knowing what to do * Only things you can interact with are doors, light switches and the TV * No Controller support * Story is lack luster * Very short game (it just kinda ended) https://www.seravium.com https://twitch.tv/seravium2 found this helpful
Uh. Not sure what I've just played. You walk into a house. trigger some events by aimlessly wandering around, apparently looking for your long lost daughter. And that's about as much story as there is. There was one jumpscare that got me, but overall it was quite boring. The atmosphere was right. Dark rooms and corridors, creepy sounds, enough tries to spook you. But it all fell flat. And what was going on with the lighting? Objects lit by a lightsource don't go dark when you move away from the light. In here it did. Really weird. Also don't remember when or why I bought this. Guess there's some real horror in that.1 found this helpful
This was ok you basically walk around and trigger the jump scares.
good game
I finished this game in 45 minutes about a month and 2 weeks ago, and I honestly don't even remember it. Even watching, or skimming through a playthrough doesn't ring many bells. Obviously a forgettable game, but must have been decent or I would give it a negative rating after I finished it.
It looks nice. That's all I can really say. Some of the scares are ok. The story, what little is there, makes no sense.
