The Keyless: Awakening

"Find The Key" is a low key asset flip, a bunch of other people's assets assembled badly to make a basic game, typically this kind of thing is done by amateur developers without sufficient budget, talent and/or staff to do the job of game development professionally. It's then quickly rushed into Steam Direct. And, unsurprisingly, this never results in a product with any quality, interest, or value for gamers. This is a lame simplistic first person horror adventure, there's literally thousands of these low effort jumpscare asset flips here on Steam, and this, remarkably, is one of the worst. All you do is explore the same asset copy + pasted a couple of times, with a nonsensical layout and even more nonsensical gameplay. Unfortunately despite being so bad, this game has plenty of equally awful peers here on Steam. So, the game might look better than you'd expect from an amateur project, but this is because it's partially or completely made up of stock assets, "borrowed" from asset stores and free asset websites. I hate to give this game a bad rating, as I was enjoying playing it very much. The chase scenes were challenging but not impossible, and it was fun to try and find all the little green guys and the notes. Unfortunately I finally ended up in a dead end room with a phone ringing nearby, but no phone was visible to interact with, and no hidden exit. So after putting in almost 2 and a half hours of time, I was unable to continue and had to quit.

Great free game. loved every minute of it. Took me about 1h 50 to finish so not sure why steam says 58 mins. Anyway, the game is great with effect. You start off at a door to the outside world but just as your about to go through a phone call stops you and tells you the only way through that door is THE KEY....IF IT EXISTS? The unknown caller will constantly call you throughout the game (text on scren) and keep telling you the key doesn’t exist and to stop looking for it, but your protagonist insists it must be real and he will keep looking for it. Basically, you ignore the caller and keep looking. There are a few chases from whatever is chasing you, some are easy, some are tricky as their ws blood pools along the way and if you fall in you start the chase again so make sure to jump over the blood pools or go around if you can. The effects are nice with the green NEON man and the spinning orbs and planets. The developer put in tonnes of effort for this game. I can't understand why it's free. I enjoyed the whole game. It's a walking simulator but be aware the rooms change a lot, walls move etc as thing happen. When you finish the phone calls, blood pours from the phone…

The graphics on this game are really good. The only complain i have is i almost give up because there was a room where the phone did not showed up. luckily i was able to fix that by leaving to the main menu and starting over from the checkpoint. i don't want to give a bad review since it looks like you do updates.

This was a really weird metaphor for women who love taco bell. Also, really slow, and kinda confusing, not really fun.
