As a walking sim, I guess this game is passable. What's that? Story, I hear you ask? What story? ;) The extensive Russian graffiti and signs suggest a post-Chernobyl setting, with the central setting being a building (possibly a school) replete with a murky basement, and outside, a shed of some sort. There is some structure to the sim. You get some keys, a fuse, a switch, all for the express purpose of getting the power up and running so you can play a video reel in the lecture hall. Once that happens you aren't far off finishing the game. Unlike other sims, there isn't much voice over. There are some notes (in English), and there is a small amount of Russian voice over, but for the mostpart it's just you walking around discovering snippets. One feature that the game has is two different endings based on light and dark. It's not something you'd know about, going into your first game... unless you've had a look at the steam achievements beforehand. Essentially, during a second playthrough, you try not to use your torch or your lighter at all, and when outside, avoid sunlight as much as you can. I'll be honest, it's a bit of a balls-up as while you are underground it can get real…3 found this helpful

I wish people would listen to this message. ... Thank You Носков Сергей
We Are The World
The Light Remake is a walking sim that talks about the the reality around us. It discusses the topic of Nuclear annihilation and what the aftermath of such an atrocity would be. Honestly, it is a bit heartfelt, especially for such a short game. I can recommend this, because this is a short and profound game that really delves into a thought the writers and developers had. And, while it is short, it still allows for the player to explore at their own pace. I will say, the only awful thing about this game are the puzzles, because they can feel a little weird or obtuse, and the tracking down of objects can feel annoying, even though the answer is right in front of your face. Overall, everything about this game is amazing! From the art style to the simplicity of the story, to even the fun of the just listening to the sounds of the game. I think it would be great to give this small walking sim a shot, especially when it is on sale and you are getting a 2 hour experience, if you do not try to achievement hunt.
