I don't know what game these other guys were playing. I bought this thinking I was going to play a delightful little critter collector game. I was not prepared for the abject horror that unfolded. Fortunately, I am something of a horror fan myself and was able to face the peril, but for those with weaker constitutions: tread carefully, friends. Terrible things lurk in the dark.

Played through twice hoping that what you fed your critters impacted things... alas, it does not. Would have definitely added to the game if it did. As it stands, this is a very, very short, mildly amusing game if you have $2 to waste.

Very cute game! Great sound effects and cozy atmosphere. Totally didn't expect the horror element but it was fun and I'm glad you don't HAVE to collect everything to progress the game and get achievements. :)

Really enjoyable little hidden object game with a creepy twist (and I'm not just talking about creepy crawlies lol). Honestly a 10/10 game if just for the fact that I booted it up, pet the cat for some purrs, and then immediately found solitaire and played that for a good 10mins before even getting into the actual bug part of the game lmao. Progression feels good and not terribly difficult, and by the time I completed the game, there were only a few more achievements to clean up and I gladly went through a second time
though I stopped before buying the special creature food again so I didn't have to be confronted by my CAT BEING GONE TT___TT
Definitely worth the two bucks! I look forward to seeing more stuff from this dev in the future!

Starts out as an insect collector that uses an interesting mechanical twist on the classic hidden object game, throws in some light terrarium upkeep & resource management, & finally hits you with a mystery animal that you slowly puzzle out throughout most of your playthrough. I was not expecting how it ended but it made sense. The cozy aesthetics & small interactable details make the study feel alive. I felt satisfied with my purchase & I will probably replay it (which for me is the best recommendation I can give it).
