Great art style and animations combined with detailed and deep gameplay mechanics. The combat may be off putting at first but it quickly becomes much deeper and engaging than its first impression after getting a weapon, obtaining a few spells and new units. Amazing work for a solo developer project, looking forward for upcoming updates.

The game has its unique "hand made" charm. A nice attempt at a new combination of different mechanics and nicely executed. Fans of grinding style games would definitely love it. After the new update the gameplay feels much better. I'm sure the developer will keep adding new features and fix the rough ends.

Pros: - Graphics have a traditional / amateur feel - Original idea - Crafting, grinding and exploring possibilities is fun - Nice story - Wind mechanic reminded me of Worms Armageddon - Barracks and customization of soldiers Cons: - Battle seems a bit boring. Different types of enemies and battle mechanics are needed - I personally prefer a system where you create individual soldiers and manage them instead of having divisions. That would have created some type of a game play story - World map looks a bit small for now but i assume it will expand according to the story so far - I wound wanted to see some cut scenes tbh. Overall it have a good potential. Looking forward to its full release

Only an hour in and yes I wish the graphics/load times were better. But honestly I am really enjoying the game play. I like that you control various actions in your attempts to siege towns. I always love crafting/upgrading units, items, a base. Its grindy but for me in a good way. Gameplay is like this: You have a mobile siege base, you can move it closer to the enemy fortress, but as enemies spawn and march towards you, the base will stop and you have to clear them before moving on, eventually getting to the fortress and trying to destroy it. You have at your disposal your main leader, the Orc, who equip with a ranged weapon, starts with a stone, I have a decent throwing axe now, and you manually throw it (has a arc telegraphing line) to help you aim it over your troops heads and hit enemies or throw farther. Think like the old golf games where further your pull back farther ball goes etc. He also gets to equip spells and other things I haven't unlocked yet, spells you can swap to but have a cooldown, so you mix between hurling magic and weapons. You then have the troops based on the barracks types youve built in your siege base, it looks like there are 4 or 5 types but…

Nice story and world building, and addictive gameplay. Well thought, detailed and easy-to-understand RPG elements to spice things up. Starts with a high difficulty though, which makes it overly challenging to progress. Had trouble aiming the enemies to shoot. I'd prefer to deal with the enemies easier as a start until I get used to the game mechanics and have some faster progression in the meantime.
