About The Parish
After slowly getting used to the monotony of the hospital, a letter is placed gently in front of you...

The scrawl is as embarrassed about its content as the old woman is to have burdened you with it.
It reads:
We are all so glad to hear about your swift recovery, the state of drivers these days worry us all!
Please can you continue towards that stead, the old pastor's ever so ill and we hear he's not got long left.
We know this is a big ask, with your condition, but this is a delicate congregation, no sense on how to be without their spiritual guide.
She stares, interrogating blinks trying to tease out your faculties.
You won't get another opportunity like this.
This is perfect.
The Parish is a slow-burning, atmospheric horror game about tackling the mysteries of this church, its people and its founder, preferably all while staying alive.

Short and slow game where you perform sermons and decide your nightmares and endings. You’re a priest sent to an isolated church up in the hills. The elderly priest there is ill and unable to execute the service, so you will have to handle everything. After a few weeks, the elderly man's ungratefulness begins to irritate you, and you start waking up with a bloody head. Controls are simple because the goal here is to create an atmosphere and guide you through the experience. All you can do is move around and interact with the stuff. You can also run, but you are not in great form and will soon run out of breath. And because the game is quite dark, you have a candle that never goes out. However, it is still only a candle, so it is not really useful. While interaction points are not visible, objects will receive a white highlight when you go close enough and hover the mouse button over them. If you prefer a more natural feel, you can turn off the highlights and rely solely on the hand icon. If you’re not sure what to do, the current objectives are written in the journal. But sometimes there is no idea what to do. One way requires you to ascend to the roof, but there is no indicat…8 found this helpful
Good game with a good story. Only thing I didn't like was how slow the main character was when it comes to getting around but I enjoyed the game overall https://youtu.be/3iR45tZIUNM4 found this helpful
