The Portal Trial is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. This isn't even the full game, it's an advertisement that the developer dumped on Steam because they refused to follow the correct process which is outlined here: It's important to understand there's a formal process to create a demo/page for a game which hasn't been followed here: https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/store/application/demos While it might seem like an inocuous mistake, publishing demos and advertisements as if they are full games is misleading and in some ways harmful. This advertisement is taking up marketing space and visibility that would be better made available to a developer that's done the right thing and created a full game. Instead, that visibility is given over to a demo/advert that's been published incorrectly and is polluting the marketplace. It's unclear if this mistake was made through incompetence or a deliberate intent to mislead gamers. Of…

I'm neutral about this one. The level design is sometimes good, sometimes bad. At the end of this demo you practically already have to know the level by heart. I was also rickrolled, so I'm heading towards a negative review. Oh and it says it supports Dual-Sense controller... It didn't for me, I had to enable Steam Input.
