Portals leaves me with mixed emotions. I like this kind of games where you use your logic and intellect to solve puzzels. When you get stuck, there is always the solution under the lightbulb to be found. What I really hate about this game, is the fact that only the solution is given, no explanation on how to get to this solution. In some levels I couldn't even understand the solution, revisiting the puzzle. In one level I got so frustrated that I fed the complete puzzle to Chat GPT, also not the solution that was needed. I understand that you need to think outside the box in some levels. But dear Dev, please remember, my box is a complete different box then yours.2 found this helpful
You can tell this was a mobile game it desperately tries to copy Doors but fails at it it hard avoid this one.2 found this helpful
I haven't played much of it. Most of my time spent was in looking up the clues! tbf, Maybe it's just my settings...and you won't have any issues. The game clues shown are rather small. It allows you to magnify "some" things-but not others. Clues are in some of the "other" things that can't be enlarged! I just played "Doors; Paradox and it was excellent if you like these kind of games, and want to see the clues and words clearly!1 found this helpful
The game offers a good puzzle experience. The 3D style looks decent and generally runs well. Working through 50 different portals adds a fair amount of variety and gives players a steady stream of puzzles to work through. Searching for hidden objects and moving through the different levels provides some enjoyable moments. The puzzles call for a bit of attention to detail, which helps keep the gameplay engaging without feeling too demanding.
I normally enjoy these kinds of games but this one i just cant see the logic and theme of the game
