Senpai ramen tastes pretty good.2 found this helpful
A beautifully appetizing, high-dopamine culinary puzzle that turns soup and noodles into a masterclass in strategy. Kairosoft takes a deep, specialized dive into the world of comfort food with The Ramen Sensei, delivering an incredibly satisfying tycoon experience that is an absolute dream for foodies and simulation fans alike. You are tasked with taking a tiny, unassuming noodle shop and transforming it into a legendary, multi-regional culinary empire. The signature, charming pixel art style works wonders here; watching your tiny chefs vigorously stretch noodles, boil complex broths, and serve hungry patrons who literally bubble with excitement after tasting a top-tier bowl creates an incredibly comforting, deeply addictive gameplay loop. The absolute heart of the game lies in its surprisingly complex Recipe Customization system. You aren't just selecting generic items from a list; you are actively playing a high-stakes balancing act with your ingredients. Choosing the perfect thickness and straightness of your noodles to perfectly complement specific broth bases—like rich Tonkotsu, savory Shoyu, or hearty Miso—requires careful tactical planning. Layering toppings like melt-in-y…
I got interested at first, which is a rare since its a Kairosoft game but again, I just got bored of it going forward. The ramen making was unique but I literally got bored and just started to plate the ramen like I was just putting it all in without even spreading it out. It was slow and boring. Sad.
I feel this is the most confusing game among other Kairosoft games I played before. I find it difficult to grasp the reason behind having one main restaurant and multiple shops at Ramen Hall. When I wanted to expand the main restaurant, I couldn't find how to do it but ended up buying multiple shops which can only be built at the Ramen Hall. It mentioned that some regular customers will go to the Ramen Hall, but I still couldn't understand why not to have multiple restaurants in various locations, which is more straightforward. I checked it online, and Ramen Hall exists in Japan, which has various ramen shops. I found such a concept confusing when implemented in the game. Overall, I wouldn't say the game is unenjoyable, but compared with other Kairosoft games, this game is probably the weakest among them. There is some fun in playing the game, but it's not a game that I will recommend to others if I'm being asked.
