About The Sun and Moon
The Sun and Moon, the winner of Ludum Dare 29, is a platformer with a unique mechanic: you can dive into the ground. Momentum is conserved but gravity is reversed, letting you fling yourself high into the air or deep beneath the surface. The goal is always straightforward - collect the three orbs in the level and jump into the wormhole - but spikes, endless drops and impossible heights make this more and more difficult.

Best action puzzle platform game I've ever played. Control isn't hard at all once figure out how movement works.3 found this helpful
If games with fluid movement where it feels good and rewarding to go fast are your kind of thing, I urge you to try this game. If you have more than a mild interest in game design and/or level design and how an entire game can be built on the back of a simple yet exceedingly clever gimmick, I urge you to try this game. If you like platformers where half the levels feel like playgrounds for you to experiment with your moveset, where the fun and challenge comes not merely from beating them but from figuring out shortcuts and faster routes, I urge you to try this game. The Sun and Moon is one of the most fun and fascinating platformers I've ever played. It satisfies both the part of me that revels in the joy of fast and precise movement (a la Super Meat Boy) and the part of me that marvels at games that centre their entire design around one cool mechanic (e.g. The Floor is Jelly). It's a minimalist game, from its aesthetics, to its complete lack of anything resembling story or setting, to its controls, ruleset and the way the level design keeps exploring different consequences of the game's main gimmick. You can move left and right, you have a variable height jump, and a secon…1 found this helpful
