The Trials is a good puzzle game, and very well priced for the amount of content. You use a mixture of 3 different 'abilities' which lends itself to some cool mechanics It's not very difficult, and just when the puzzles start to get interesting, you've completed that part of the game and move on to the next thing. Could have done without the content filler extra puzzles dotted around the island Some of the puzzles with time constraints are unnecessarily tedious, although I was using controller and probably would have found them easier with mouse and keyboard. There is massive potential here, I hope the dev has refined some of the rough edges of this first game for their sequel

Decent puzzle game, especially for the price.

Surprisingly complex, fun puzzles who also get very tough in the later stages. Chill piano music, great visuals, no story (but also none needed). Just a fairly big open island with barely any tutorial or lore/text describing how the puzzles or mechanics work, which remind a lot of The Witness. Some great twists on known puzzle elements like teleporting or time traveling/recording actions. Secrets that are both mentally and "physically" (jumping, parkouring) interesting to solve. Some of the solutions quickly push the boundaries of the mechanics. Those could be explored more, though the puzzles never get overwhelming nor boring to solve. 3 Euros for an entertaining 5 hours is unbeatable. My only complaint is having no frame-limiter or V-Sync, turning my computer into a helicopter trying to run the game in the 1000s of fps. Other than that, I'm looking forward to the second one and wonder what BLUE LIFE is cooking up next =)

Great variety of puzzles, an interesting mixture of logic and deduction based puzzles and all that in a world without loading screens. Also the game has a lot more content and polish than I expected, given the low price.

Rough around edges, but a great game to scratch that 3D puzzler itch for people who like games like Portal and The Talos Principle. It doesn't feel like a copy-cat game. The mechanics and puzzles are unique. Took me about 8 hours to 100% it, so it was also longer than I was expecting for a $3 game.
