The monsters move around the map freely with almost as much movement options as the player, untied to strict patterns. They use sense-based systems to actually find the player and hunt them down. An overarching director system governs an ebb and flow in tension, keeping the horror fresh and unpredictable.
Stamina functions as health, falling from great heights or getting caught by monsters reduces its maximum value. This means taking damage limits movement options, increasing the danger.
