You're all alone in the jungle on a dark stretch of river. With your small boat you should be able to make it out alive... although you can't shake the feeling that you aren't alone.
They That Feast is a horror focused game where you are being stalked by things that defy human explanation. Avoidance is your best asset. While you will discover an artifact that gives you some ability to see your pursuers, it comes at the cost of draining your sanity when you use it. Therefore you must weigh your need to see your enemies while maintaining your mental health.

"They That Feast" is a badly made first person adventure made up of the usual Unity Asset Store assets being thrown in a blender. At least the developer didn't have the audacity to try charge money for someone else's Unity assets, but that still doesn't result in a quality gaming experience. And, once more, H P Lovecraft is rolling in his grave. I've seen so much abuse of H P Lovecraft here in the shallow end of Steam that I'm starting to think Disney may have a point about the public domain. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming idustry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. Однако, основной фокус игры – это раскрытие тайны острова и противостояние жуткой секте, обитающей на нем. Атмосфера напряжения и неизвестности держит в напряжении на протяжении всего прохождения. Сюжет подается постепенно, через обрывки записок и странные ритуалы, что добавляет загадочности. Звуковое сопровождение прекрасно дополняет атмосферу: жуткие шорохи, зловещее пение и внезапные крики заставляют вздрагивать даже самых опытных игроков. A hard pass. Followed the torches to the shacks, found a few clickable items, heard something like a record being played slowly, then BAM... dead. Hit retry, sent me all the way back to the start. Nope. Rating: 1/10
