Tibor: Tale of a Kind Vampire

This is a remaster of a 2009 croatian game. Let's start with the original game. You are Tibor, you are now a vampire and will have to find a potion to revert it, for you and all your people. That's the plot. The game plays as a classic 2d platformer that could easily be labeled as shovelware. There's not a lot going on. All enemies consist of little animals like cats and bees that move back and forth. You can kill them either by stomping them or throw them potions. The only variety is spiders that go up and down, and boulders that fall in the last stages. The only small challenge will be to finish all levels at 100%, that involves collecting every coin, diamond, potion and bonus letter. There's no reward for doing so and you can just run to the end of the level ignoring everything. The huge design issue with this game is the lack of content and the amount of levels. Every 5 levels you change to a new area, which is basically the same as the last one. There's 2 areas with daylight, which is a little weird since you are supposed to be a vampire and all the night zones look almost the same. This game was a huge part of my childhood and I'm glad to see it come to steam last year. The controls are better than I remember it being. The game hold up well. Love the platforming, the collectathon aspects and music. Can't wait for Tibor 2.
