Players praise Toadled as a fun, challenging platformer with simple controls and satisfying difficulty that rewards persistence, noting it's affordable and completable in roughly two hours. The main critiques center on its brevity and lack of depth, with some finding the difficulty frustrating despite appreciating the classic "try, fail, repeat" design. The game delivers solid entertainment for platformer fans seeking a quick, accessible challenge, though it won't appeal to those looking for a substantial or lengthy experience.
Challenging but Fun 🐸 Toadled is a small but surprisingly challenging platformer. The controls are simple, but the levels can be tricky, which makes it satisfying when you finally get through them. It has that classic “try, fail, repeat” style gameplay, so it can be a bit frustrating at times, but in a good way if you enjoy difficult platformers. The visuals are simple but fit the game well, and the short levels make it easy to play in quick sessions. It’s not a very big or deep game, but it does what it’s meant to do and can be pretty fun. Overall, a solid little challenge for platformer fans. 6.5/10
This is short, cheap, and a lot of fun. I got all achievements and did everything in the game in a little over two hours.
lol
This game was awesome! I loved this game. I was a bit hesitant to get this game and to play it, as I typically don't care for action/clicker type games, and I'm not big on FPS type games, but with the Fall Sale discount price at little over a buck, I went ahead and snatched it up. While some people would say this isn't an shooter because you're using your tongue instead of a weapon to kill your enemies, I still think of it in that category. Actually, your tongue is the weapon, and as you progress to the later stages, you have to be quick. Anyway, I really suck at FPS and fast-paced clickers, so I really doubted myself that I'd make 100%. However, I did better than I thought and got all achievements, in probably a little less than 2 hrs. So, if I can get to 100%, ANYONE can do it. Unfortunately, the trading cards hadn't even started dropping by the time I was done (a problem I've noticed with most games lately on Steam), so I just left the game running while I went and ran errands. There are a total of 8 cards, and you get 4 for playing the game. At the time of this writing all cards are really cheap on the market (.05-.07), so you can build up your badges on the cheap.
grandmas gonna love this one!
