About Tormented 12
Inspired by games like Ultima, Eye of the Beholder, and others, Tormented12 is a historical fantasy game based on the biblical account of the twelve Hebrew tribes.
Encounters, riddles, and magic will be integrated according to that history, with a bit of old-fashioned RPG game play weaved in.
Players select a Judge (a heroic title from the biblical era) from 11 different characters, each having their own set of skills and traits with which to deal with the threats/situations presented in the game.
Around 740BC an orcish invasion (Imitation of the Assyrian documented invasion)
is threatening the kingdom. You start your game inside the temple mount trying to push back the Orcish raid.
Fight your way through slavery and Goblinian (Babylonian) exile and restore hope for your people. Discover holy relics and lost treasures. Forge alliances and rebuild the Temple. Fight biblical demons and become the most powerful Judge history has ever known.

I gave this game a shot but I quickly closed it after starting. The controls are clunky, when using the keyboard keys to move around there seems to be a delay. And using the mouse to click and move feels better but I found it hard to engage enemies, my character and the enemy would just dance around each other while trying to initiate the fight. Also when it comes to your inventory and fights some things you can click on with your mouse while other things you can't, like using a item. The controls overall just feel awkward. Also I only played the tutorial and intro but I noticed a lot of spelling and grammar errors which really made it hard to get immersed into the story, or to read for that matter. And the game doesn't have much in terms of graphical options, you can't even put the game into full screen mode. However, the game does have a turn-based combat system which I like and I did like the art style as well. But the other issues are a big turn off for me. If they got patched then I could definitely see myself playing this game.15 found this helpful
So I 'm pretty new at this... my friend recommended I join STEAM to try. This is my first game through STEAM and I gotta say its really nice especially for the cost. Challenges are interesting, music is great. Plot evolves fairly quickly so from a respected warrior you soon become a slave and then free yourself and continue the journey. Obviously I haven’t finished it yet but it been interesting so far. It also kind of teaches you things through riddle which I thought was cute. Personally I think its definitely worth a try.10 found this helpful

I would like this game, if it was easier and if the dev hadn't given up. Shame, music and style is cool.
