Tower of Ba*bel

9/10 game everyone not recommending it lowk just have a skill issue. was very fun and i loved yelling at my friends, they need extra pain for the suffering they put me through. good soundtrack and fun idea, although i wish the tutorial was a play type instead of read type since me and my friends are illiterate.

Tower of Ba*bel is one of those games that feels like it was made specifically to create silly situations with physics. I am basically rolling a ball of water up a strange tower while trying not to lose control of it, and the whole thing has a deliberately chaotic feeling. There is also a ridiculous little story involving a kidnapped mistress and a masked menace, but honestly I think the strange presentation is more important than following the plot. It knows exactly what kind of game it wants to be and does not take itself seriously. The physics are easily the main attraction for me. Controlling the ball while climbing the tower sounds simple, but keeping it moving in the right direction can become surprisingly frustrating. The tower has awkward paths, falls and obstacles that make me constantly adjust my movement. Sometimes I feel like I have everything under control and then the ball suddenly goes somewhere I did not expect. That unpredictability can be annoying, but it is also where a lot of the fun comes from. I also like that I can play on my own or bring other people into the chaos.
