About TradingLife
TradingLife is an immersive, loop-based trading simulation made for traders and anyone interested in trading.
At every settlement, you must be profitable. Otherwise, the rift collapses, and the loop begins again.
It’s to survive repeated settlements, review your actions, restart, and gradually forge a trading system that’s stable, repeatable, and transferable to real trading.
Loop again and again, until you can confidently—live the trading life.
Premise
You lost everything—your capital, your confidence, even your last way out was erased by the market.Just as despair finally hollowed you out, a rift in time opens up and pulls you into real historical price action, giving you one chance to start over. This time, you swear you’ll take back everything that should have been yours. But the rift doesn’t open for free—it runs on profit as fuel.At every settlement, you must be profitable. Otherwise, the rift collapses, and the loop begins again.
Gameplay | Rules of Survival in the Loop
- Each round, you randomly draw an instrument and “travel” to a random week in history.
- To prevent memory and information advantages, the game “future-shifts” time and hides key price information, forcing you to make decisions using only what you can see in the moment.
- Every 4 rounds form one settlement cycle:
- Net profit > 0 during the cycle → earn rewards and move forward
- Net profit ≤ 0 → the loop resets, and you begin a new “life”
It’s to survive repeated settlements, review your actions, restart, and gradually forge a trading system that’s stable, repeatable, and transferable to real trading.
A Market Environment That’s Uncomfortably Real
- All candlestick data comes from real historical 1-minute bars and is built directly into the game—no extra downloads required.
- Currently supported markets: Crypto / Gold (XAU) / Forex (FX)
- Real-time price presentation is generated based on the current 1-minute bar’s OHLC and recent volatility patterns, using algorithms to make the rhythm and “feel” closer to live markets.
Professional-Grade Tools That Turn Training Into Results
- Indicators, timeframes, drawing tools, and a full order system (including limit orders, breakout orders, and more)
- Journaling system: customizable journal templates to record entry rationale, risk plans, execution details, and emotional state
- Journal tables support filtering and statistical analysis: compare performance across different trade types and quickly identify what truly works for you
Unlimited Practice
Any historical round you’ve traded can be replayed indefinitely.Use it to correct mistakes, validate strategies, and train discipline—until the right actions become automatic.Sharpen the blade before the fight.Loop again and again, until you can confidently—live the trading life.

It is what its being shown, a simple trading game that uses historical data and a way to test your trading strategies and pattern reading before you trade for real in the real markets. Pro: Things that I like about the game 1. Candle Bar by bar fast forward, track data and get results of your strategy without waiting 2. I can infinitely practice candle and pattern reading in random charts in a way you cannot cherry pick or refer to real charts data. 3. I can test my strategy and refine my entry points criteria, and develop more strategies for different scenarios 4. Free account on tradingview does not have bar replay, so you can use this to practice. 5. Dev is responsive and active in the discussion forum 6. There are black market options to increase your starting cash amount, a way to practice small ($1000-$10k), med ($100k), large ($1m) accounts. 7. Every timeframe is available (1min, 5min, 15min, 1hr, 1day) except 30min, 4Hr, Weekly and Monthly Con: 1. Minimal Barebone UI - Everything works on what it needs to do, however some trial and error are needed to navigate through different screens as there is not much help explaining how things work eg set up a trading journal, how …8 found this helpful
Absolutely have to give the developers a huge 5-star review! I encountered a game crash-on-launch issue yesterday and posted about it in the Steam community. The developers replied in less than half an hour and gave me detailed instructions on how to collect the log files. After I sent them the logs, they quickly identified the problem and have been helping me work through it ever since. This level of responsiveness and responsibility is extremely rare among indie game developers. The game itself is also fantastic – easily the most realistic trading simulation I've ever played. It uses real historical market data, and the roguelike loop is incredibly addictive and challenging. An amazing game made by amazing developers – 100% worth supporting! Hope the game gets even better in the future!
