A Charming but Flawed Model Railroad Sandbox (5/10) I first discovered Train Frontier Classic around age 9. Back then, I had no idea how to properly play it and mostly just messed around without understanding its systems. Years later, I rediscovered it in my Steam library, downloaded it, and gave it another shot with fresh eyes. Overall, it's not a bad game, but it lands solidly in the middle for me. If I had to rate it on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it a 5/10. It has real heart and potential, but frustrating limitations hold it back from greatness. The Good: Style, Charm, and Community Sharing The game shines brightest in its stylized art direction. It blends a vibrant, cartoonish vibe reminiscent of TF2 with charming low-poly aesthetics. This gives it a unique, toy-like feel that perfectly matches its inspiration: building model railroads. There's undeniable charm in simply driving trains around your creations or hopping into other players' worlds. The multiplayer aspect, where you can explore and ride everyone else's maps, adds a fun social layer.
