About Tri City Monsters
In TCM, meet Mori (fly-by-night party punk), Amir (lithe, conniving socialite), and Akello (certified DILF)- three mostly-normal, hot men who find themselves embroiled in the supernatural. Choose which path to pursue as you uncover their real demonic natures, catch feelings, and get busy with them at your discretion. The city's a dangerous place, however, and even worse things are lurking in grungy alleys to catch you (and your beau) off guard.
Explore each character's struggles in pursuit of their goals in further upcoming chapters, set to release regularly.
What does it mean to be human? In Tri City Monsters you'll come face to face with the answers. Mori, Amir, and Akello all lead very separate lives with their own problems but they all have one thing in common: they've traded their humanity for power but they all got more than they bargained for- and with some greater power making moves from the shadows, the dangers are a lot higher than any of them anticipated.
Help them cope with what's happened to them- by embracing their new demonic forms or by holding on to their humanity, the choice is yours- and maybe forge a deep and permanent connection. In one form or another.

TriCity Monsters is an LGBTQ supernatural horror visual novel set in a very stylish and dark version of the 1990s, At the present you can meet 3 characters, each with their own personality and supernatural ability, with whom you interact in a fashion similar to a dating sim, unlocking scenes based on your choices and providing replayability in the form of different endings to find even within the same character arc. I consider myself to be asexual so I cannot really comment on that aspect of the game, but I do want to comment on the incredible work by the developer: Studio Peaches. In this specific instance I want to praise the dedication and continuous work to expand the content, not just story-wise but in features and QoL over the years. The game is completely hand-drawn, the writing feels human, atmospheric, quirky, in a way that reminds you that at the end of the day creativity is an exercise and it doesn't necessarily need to appeal to you for you to recognize their effort. In their socials, patreon and Discord, the dev has fostered a sense of community that I wish more studios adopted, in an era rife with polarization and tribalism as engagement techniques. With an easy to use user interface and the kind of writing that has you caring for characters who you might have thought to write off, you can't lose with this game. The beautiful art and accurate mood music serve to highlight the heart of this game, and there's a lot of heart in this game. If you're a bit of a completionist/perfectionist like me, each character's story will be five hours of rich exploration. You could probably get through them in four if you are on a time crunch, but the game is time and money well spent in my books.
Been palying this VN since the first chapter release. Charachters, plot, art and music - loved it. Will be waiting for your next project with the side trio
great music, great art, hot dudes turnin into hot monsters. will update when finished but awooga awooga 10/10 edit: one thing that did irk me a bit was the writing gets a lil weird if you dont canoodle with the boys every time, like the story expects you to get down every time and it reflects in the writing but other than that, its pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ good edit 2 now that ive seen some of the endings: so. endings were rushed. the pacing really really shows it, with punctuation and spelling errors. like a majority of the separate routes are good, but if you dont want to play the way the devs intended the writing gets so disjointed and weird. loses all flow. was an absolute recommend when it was free and still in development, but where it stands right now i would not pay 25$ for this. also did not receive this for free to review, i got it on steam before the dev added an up front cost.
The art is tasty, the music is great and the characters are unique and memorable. Vignettes in Akellos route are stunning and live in my brain
Have been really enjoying the game. :D
