I bought this game before and returned it, because it was broken. The designer responded to my comment and said they fixed it, so I tried again, and to their credit, they did fix it, but it still seems a pretty poor effort. For starters, in the first level at least, there was no chance I was ever going to be able to afford more than one tower. They cost 1,000 coins, but killing a foe seems to give me ten I think? On the plus side, you can upgrade the towers a bit it seems, and they are affordable, but only one tower? ADDENDUM: I have since played about six more times, and it simply isn't any fun. No tactical options, no strategic upgrades, only three towers, and they are so expensive it is difficult to have more than one on the map. I have had two, but the difficulty ramps up pretty quickly and the second tower isn't very useful. I have unlocked the second tower, the cannon tower, it's not very good. Can't make it the first tower, it isn't able to stop the early waves, and the upgrades are crazy expensive. If this was a free offering, I could see recommending it, but for any price more than that, simply not worth it. Two thumbs down.
