In the early 2300s, Earth is still recovering from a decades-long World War that engulfed most of the planet, except for an isolationist United States that used its power and prestige not to fight, but to reach for the stars. But when NASA’s generation ships disappear in interstellar space, only two pilots are capable of figuring out why.
Featuring 40 stages, four boss fights, New Game+, multiple extra features, plenty of story and dialogue, collectibles, a rocking soundtrack, and a fun achievement system, Twin Breaker is an ode to both the past and the future.

Brick-breaker has a story, classic gameplay, and standard features that will not appeal to gamers who are not fans of the genre. The gameplay is a traditional block-breaker with a twist. Instead of one paddle, you must control two, and eventually four. This makes it slightly more tough, but not overly so. First and foremost, stages do not overstay their welcome with a large amount of blocks, and secondly, the luck ratio for powerups is quite reasonable. Standard features include a shield to block the bottom, multi-balls, faster balls, etc. A lengthy introduction explains the reasoning for your actions in the game. Long story short, Earth dispatched ships to seek out new places to live. Because travel is lengthy, it will take several generations to reach their target. After years of no contact, the first ship appears and transmits the location of a hidden wormhole. Two pilots are selected to fly into it and see what they can discover. As you progress through the main level mode, you will acquire additional plot elements in the form of articles. The only condition is to complete a stage with the required number of points. It is what it is - Breakout. It starts off fairly safe, but eventually adds its own spin to the concept. Works great on Steam Deck, so maybe worth picking up in a sale. Good game, but I get so stressed trying to control 4 paddle thingers at a time. With that said, I was able to beat it fine -- some stages just took a few tries.
Story is ok but whatever, game-play is interesting and fun but 4 paddle levels are way too much, looks great for a pixel game, all you need is metal ball to win every level
