Typing Tempo

This game is exactly what I've been looking for in a rhythm game! The provided songs are good and there is a lot of variety with the charts. The harder difficulties will last me a while. The game also comes with a chart editor so you can add your own songs and map them. Great feature! I've used it a lot. I do wish that there was a workshop page where creators could share their charts, though. I've seen many reviews criticize the lack of words in the charts, but I actually think that not having you type words works to the game's benefit. It makes this game concretely a rhythm game that uses the full keyboard as a controller, rather than typing game.

Despite this being a great game, I still vote a thumbs down. Why? This game is for those who already have a skill in typing that wish to increase wpm. AVOID if you, or a child, is trying to build that skill. This is not for noobs. I am trying to build the skill of typing without looking at keyboard in my child and this does not do that. Other than that, this is a really fun game. I really enjoy the music.

I think this game has alot of potential! The concept is pretty nice and I do like the gameplay. For one, I have the whole QWERTY memorized and yet I still caught myself freezing or spamming by not knowing where the next letter was haha. So it is the right amount of challenge for me! I think however, you could increment a few things - More songs on the library - The inclusion of making & seeing other player's stages (Maybe upload their own song aswell, but I get if copyright is an issue) - Different options or customization ability on the avatar - Option to change the game UI colour or theme - Option to write actual words or lyrics instead of randomized keys (I'm able to do this in practice, but in an actual track, it's not possible) - Option to favorite songs I think these features could potentially bring this game back to life! Maybe some of these are there and I didn't see it, you can let me know in advance. I do still like the game nonetheless but honestly I'd only come back when I have ran out of wifi or have nothing to do on my laptop. Fun way to practice my typing. The songs are fun to listen to.

That game boosted my fast-typing learning progress, i started with 40-ish wpm now i can easily do 55+ wpm and i feel that my muscle memory is much better now. Game have interesting levels, tho music is not my style, still just typing on beats is fun.

Really good game to practice typing with good songs, the important thing is that you can feel the beats when pressing the corresponding keys
