DO NOT BUY THIS!!! I only paid like $2 for it and I overpaid! The handling of the cars is atrocious! The cars dip a lot when turning, the steering seems delayed and sluggish, the mechanics part have been seen before and the performance is sometimes very bad. I started a race against 4 opponents and my fps dipped to 49, according to the Steam overlay, but the game was clearly rendering around 1-2. I tried using the Direct 11 version, that "only" dipped to 60 fps, but that was also clearly about 1-2. I know I haven't much ingame playtime, but that's how bad I feel it is. I actually regret paying $2 dollars for a game?!

Game forces you to diagnose issues but doesn't tell you how to. its just like go on do it like you already know how to play this failed attempt to rip off car mechanic sim. I don't remember what I paid for this trash but whatever it was it was too much

Well... what can I say? If you did not watch any youtube videos of gameplay and decided "steam reviews are better" well here is one. First thing is first. Runs well on my entry level gaming PC. It is a good blend of racing and car repairs. And it doesnt master either. With focused effort it takes about 16 hours to complete all achievements. I am still missing one to which I am like "meh". When it comes to car repairs it is about on the same level of detail as car mechanic simulator (2021 - there will be a new one out soon and I cannot compare that one yet) except it is lets just say "on a bit of a budget". But some super annoying bits are not present for example the disassembly and assembly is a smooth process. And is not as tedious as CMS. Of course you need to get used to the UI to find out what is wrong first where the game basically tells you "replace this and that" and highlights it. Then it is up to you to get to it. And yes there are good details with removing fluids and oil and repairing components (which is not a minigame here). Then you get some racing stuff. Again. Not perfect. But it is fun. You have time trials, races and 1v1 race. Time trials are fun. Race I…

For a long time I did not buy this game based on some reviews, after seeing a number of others liking it I spent almost 9$ and tried it, as some have said there are bugs but it was made by humans so perfection is usually not expected by reasonable people. I will conclude that I enjoyed it and am glad I gave it a try.

Underground Garage has interesting combination of fixing , tuning and racing cars. Controls on mechanic side initially felt bit weird, but I adjusted soon. Screwing parts is faster than in some mechanic games. Mostly you just fix customer cars to get money to run garage. There are do diagnostics tools, just quick diagnostic button. That partially makes it too easy. Most parts can be repaired in repair table. There are plenty of nice looking cars and engines. Game is open world, even pretty large area. There is small amount of traffic. You could drive to any location, but they seem to be empty. At least I didn't find any hidden cars or parts. But those can be found on junkyard or black market. There is no fast travel. Luckily, you have car and you can tune it. Idea of races seems tempting, but would have needed more work from developer. Driving physics feels bad, making cars numb to drive. On top of that, bad GPU optimization makes games janky. Car models do not feel different, one with more powerful engine is just faster. Cars lose acceleration, even if pedal is pushed firmly to floor. Underground Garage has so much potential. It just needs more work. Feels like whole gam…
