Not a big fan of needing an item when the same item is shown in multiple areas (ie, a bucket when there's like 3 areas with buckets). Puzzles were decent and game wasn't too long.

Small adventure-mystery game with its own gripping story and casual gameplay for all experienced and newbies alike players. I enjoyed that myself and hope you will.

It's a good game. The story is simple, but it has the intrigue. The gameplay was good, the items are easy to find and their usage makes sense. The difficulty of puzzles is balanced, some were hard, some were easy. I really liked the winter setting and the architecure of buildings. The graphics are very charming, locations done really good. I also like the voice acting, characters talk in old manner and it works! Something in this game makes you hooked to it till the very end. 8/10 btw i also think that Where Angels Cry is a very clever name, but a little bit misleading, probably that's why it's been changed to its current name.

It's okay. It's quite a bland, rather repetitive point-and-click. The plot is lacklustre, the voice acting is wooden and the graphics look straight from the 90s -- none of which is exactly a bad thing, since these are all kinda the hallmarks of a classic point-and-click/HOG for me at this point. A few of the objects (a bobby pin, some nails and a wooden shaft) blend a little too well into the background, to a point that it feels unfair. There's a lot of repetition of scenes, objects and puzzles -- in the first two acts you end up picking up the same bucket and taking it to the same well three times. There's a trio of colour matching puzzles back to back to back. It all feels quite limited and rudimentary. I do have to give points for the devs trying to match the setting with a bunch of Shakespearean style English -- all the sooths, prithees, pray tells and swounds were quite pleasing despite the sub-par voice acting. It's very short overall, and I can't really recommend it. All I can really say is it's not absolutely terrible and I didn't encounter any bugs playing it.

I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, created by old-school visuals and dark music. The story was short and nice, and the puzzles required a bit of thought, but didn't distract me from the quests too much. It's a decent game for an evening or two. I'm glad I gave it a try, disregarding the negative reviews.
